On July 9, 2025, the International Seminar
On July 9, 2025, an international seminar was held on the problems of sustainable development of tourism in the North Kazakhstan region and the experience of the formation of the tourism industry in various countries. The seminar was initiated and organized by researchers of the PCF program BR 24993222 "Building a decision support system for the natural and economic development of the territory of the North Kazakhstan region in the context of sustainable development" Biribay Elmira Sartaykyzy and Tusupova Bayan Khalelovna.
Interesting, meaningful presentations, informative presentations were made by invited participants, leading scientists, PhD, professors: Abenova Elena Anatolyevna on the topic: "Sustainable tourism of Northern Kazakhstan: directions of development" (University of Narkhoz, Kazakhstan), Kutay Oktay, the topic of the report: "Experiences from International Exchange Programs on Sustainable To urism Practices in Various Countries" (Kastamonu University, Turkey), Jennifer Verdolin, made a presentation on the topic: "Sustainable Tourism in Kazakhstan: Protecting Nature, Culture, and Communtry" (University of Arizona, USA), Kelgenbaev Kamilya Abdymanapovna - the topic of the report: "Proposals for sustainable tourism development in Kyrgyzstan" (Technical University of Dresden, International University of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz Republic), Tusupova Bayan Halelovna, on the topic: "Ecological state of the North Kazakhstan region" (KazNU named after Al-Farabi, Kazakhstan).
The report of Ph.D., Professor Biribay Elmira Sartaykyzy (University of Narkhoz, Kazakhstan) was devoted to the urgent problem of developing multifaceted areas of tourism in North Kazakhstan region: ecotourism, natural tourism, historical and cultural tourism, ethnic tourism, gastroethnotourism; recommendations for the creation of a tourism cluster, which contributes to the economic growth of the region.
In conclusion to the report, Elmira Sartaykyzy showed a
prepared video ("Discover the tourist destinations of the
North Kazakhstan region!") About the most beautiful places
in North Kazakhstan region, lakes, forests, national parks,
famous tourist sites and protected areas of this region!
At the end of the seminar, the curators of the program
Aknazarova Raushan Bulatovna and Karabkina Natalya
Nikolaevna summed up the results and presented certificates
to the seminar participants.
